Call for Papers
We welcome original manuscripts contributing to the topics of the conference.
“Full papers” are encouraged but “Extended abstracts” of up to one page may also be submitted.
All full submissions will be double blind and peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to the conference, contributions, and readability.
You have to choose one option:

SUBMISSIONS
The submission of contributions for the Conference will have two phases:
(1) The first phase consists of the submission of :
a “Full paper” (max. 8 pages) or an “Extended abstract” (max. 1 page) that will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee.
To produce the paper you must follow the approved template:
To submit your Full paper or Extended abstract to the Conference, please go to the on-line submission system available here and register the corresponding author and coauthors (just in case), and upload your paper.
(2) The second phase, for the accepted contributions, implies to produce the final camera-ready paper in the appropriate template.
If you sent a Full Paper (Format Blind) you have to send it now in Paper Format.
But if you sent an Extended Abstract (Format Blind) you must send now the Extended Abstract (Extended Abstract Format).
The “final camera-ready” papers must be uploaded in word format, following the approved template, with authors.
Papers or extended abstracts that do not meet these requirements won’t be included in the Proceedings of the Conference.
Submissions to the joint International Conference will be written in English.
Papers submitted in Spanish will be accepted exclusively for the “XVIII Congreso de Ingeniería de Organización” and will be only published as “Open Access Proceedings” with ISBN.
Accepted Extended Abstract will be only published as “Open Access Proceedings” with ISBN.
The maximum length will be 8 pages for full papers and 1 page for extended abstracts, according to the provided template.
All accepted submissions will be published, provided that they meet the following conditions:
(1) Each submission must have at least one registered author before the due deadline.
(2) An author may not be the only enrolled in more than one submission, unless listed as sole author in all of them.
Selected full papers presented in the conference will be published in the following journals and periodical book series, based on topical match:
- International Journal of Bio-inspired Computation (indexed in Science Citation Index – Q1 JCR Thomson Reuters; Scopus – Elsevier; Academic OneFile – Gale; ACM Digital Library amongst others).
- International Journal of Engineering Management and Economics (indexed in Academic OneFile – Gale; EconLit – American Economic Association; General BusinessFile ASAP International – Gale; Google Scholar amongst others). a
- International Journal of Production Management and Engineering (open access scientific journal).
- Dirección y Organización (indexed in Scopus; ISOC; INDEX; Latindex; REDALYC amongst others).
- Brazilian Journal of Operations and Production Management (open access scientific journal).
- Lecture Notes in Management and Industrial Engineering - Springer series (indexed in Scopus; ISI proceedings)
Remaining papers will be published online as “Open Access Proceedings” with ISBN.
